About
William Raveis
When
you choose Doris to be your realtor you sign on the strongest
advocate you can have. And that’s exactly what you
want when the decision you make has such important financial
and emotional ramifications for you and your family.
Growing up as the youngest in a family with three brothers, she learned early
on the skills of negotiating and remaining cool, calm and strong. As an adult
she translated her childhood experience into the skills of a successful entrepreneur.
Doris ran her own business in New York City and took a small retail photo store
and turned it into one of the most respected names in the industry. Negotiating
with vendors and clients were an everyday occurrence that she enjoyed. Knowing
how to advertise and when was a key element to success. She was also in charge
of customer relations and takes pride in the numerous letters received throughout
the years from satisfied customers.
Today, she brings her marketing and selling skills along with her personal attributes
of enthusiasm, perseverance, calm and balanced outlook to guiding people in buying
or selling their home. You will have her strong insights, keen sense of style
and personal attention every step of the way. You will be completely satisfied
with her service and you will never hear her say, “I’m sorry. I told
my assistant to follow up.”
Doris, a black
belt in karate, speaks Spanish fluently and conversational French. She is an
award-winning photographer and has traveled extensively. As a community activist
she has worked with disadvantaged inner city youth and lead fund raising events
for CancerCare of Fairfield County. Her diverse interests include gardening,
knitting, baking, sports car driving & interior design. When she finally
takes a moment to rest, she enjoys going on long walks with her dog Cello and
husband Gil.
